Group Fitness - Strength & Core​

This circuit based class is perfect for those looking to build strength while getting fit. This full body workout has a technique focus and includes core based exercises to tone and strengthen the entire body.

Combination Circuit

If you are looking for a full body workout that includes cardie, strength and core training then this is the perfect class. Greater intensity than the Tuesday class and a higher calorie burn (approx. 350/400 calories per session).

Pilates - Prenatal

What’s included: 60 minute Pilates class instructed by women’s health trained Physiotherapy and includes education on prenatal care, postnatal recovery and birth preparation

Cost: $35/casual class or $150 for a 5 week term with private health rebates available

Making Rainbows

Come along & join Danni for lots of singing, dancing, colours & fun with your little ones 💛 Kicking off a Special 5 week term from 9th Nov at the Surrounds Leisure Centre.

Mixed Age

This 40-minute child-centred classes will delight your young toddler through to kindy age child and excite their natural love of music! The whole family is welcome in this mixed-age class.  Our program has been carefully planned by a qualified educator and endorsed by an occupational therapist.

Baby Class

This special class aims to foster the bond you have with your baby (approx 0 to 15 months) in a gentle and fun environment. Our program is multi-sensory so we use scarves, rainbow parachute, ribbons, handheld instruments, therapy balls, sand, water, bubbles and many other resources and props.

Keith has 20 years of experience in the Sports & Fitness Industry, and is the owner of Group Fitness company Active GC.  Keith has been a part of the Leisure Centre team since March 2021 & in that time has established engaging Group Class and PT programs for residents.

Mel is a qualified personal trainer with Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness with over 2 years experience in training one on one!

Personal Training - Charlie

Charlie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP). He completed his Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2021 at SCU.
Charlie helps people facing tough health challenges using carefully tailored exercise programs. He specializes in working with people with disabilities, veterans’ health, and return-to-work (WorkCover).
